How do I replay a scenario?
Open the story again from the homepage and start a new run. Nothing is locked in — a different set of choices gives you a different ending, and most stories have several.
Are the scenarios historically accurate?
Scenarios are researched and grounded in real historical events, but they're dramatizations — designed to make the decisions and stakes feel real. Where multiple historical interpretations exist, we use the most widely accepted account. Each scenario includes a "historical note" on what actually happened.
Is my data private?
You can play without an account, and progress stays in your browser. If you create a free account, your runs are saved to it instead, so you can leave a story half-finished and pick it up later on another device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Does it cost anything?
No. Every story is free to play, there is no subscription, and there is nothing to install — HistoryForge runs in your browser.
